Matike Taurikura

In Te Reo Māori (Māori language) 'Matike' means 'to rise up (from a recumbent position)', and 'Taurikura' means 'towards prosperity'.

Matike Taurikura uses proprietary geospatial-based technology to assess present day land uses and highlight opportunities that afforestation initiatives could create. In conjunction with the afforestation modules, Matike Taurikura will also enable other land improvement schemes such as the monetisation of riverways via low impact micro-hydro power generation, optimising returns from Māori land.

Matike Taurikura is a technology subsidiary of Tāmata Hauhā. Tāmata Hauhā is using its considerable operating expertise to ensure land is correctly afforested and managed.
